Outside with Daddy

February 8, 2009
Andrew has discovered his love for the outdoors. Everyday when Daddy gets home, Andrew brings his shoes, hat, and coat to Daddy (rain or shine) and points to the door. Andrew especially loves his swing in the backyard.

Super Bowl

Daddy and Andrew were super excited about the Steelers going to and winning the Super Bowl. It was a fun night for all. Go Steelers!

Snow Day!

Mommy got a two hour delay yesterday and a snow day today! That is why I am updating the blog (finally)! Andrew found the Clifford slippers we forgot about in his closet this morning. I was looking for his "snow gear" so we could take him out in the snow. Andrew immediately fell in love with is Clifford slippers. The snow, he did not love so much. He just fell over and laid there until one of us picked him up- kind of like that little kid from A Christmas Story. We didn't stay out long (it's really cold out there) and the snow was too dry to make a snowman. We tried to make a snow angel with him, but he didn't like it. Oh well, maybe next time.

We got new office furniture and Andrew helped Daddy put it together. Dean read the directions many times to try to understand how to put it together.... Andrew ripped up the directions and hammered everything.

Andrew and Daddy watched the Steeler's game. Andrew wore Daddy's Steelers shirt from when he was a little boy. The shirt had been well worn and needed some repair before Andrew put it on. It needed even more repair after Andrew took it off.

Andrew's First Birthday

Andrew had a great 1st Birthday. Lots of family and friends came to help Andrew celebrate. His cousins, Arianna and Kyra, helped Andrew open and play with his presents. Arianna helped Andrew eat his cake, too! Andrew was a little confused by all of the people and commotion, but he handled it well and had a great time!
